In September 1985, young Yon Lindquist, the future writer, came to Stockholm. He wants to become a magician and rents an apartment in a dilapidated building next to the Brunkberg tunnel. Pretty soon he understands that something strange is happening with his new house: someone constantly calls him and asks the same person, it is impossible to listen to music in the apartment, since sometimes sinister sounds come from the tape recorder, birds fall from the sky, The neighbors behave suspiciously, and it is unpleasant to walk in the tunnel, as if something living was watching the passers-by from the walls.
