Lovecraft mixed ordinary reality and the universal nightmare, showed a clash of a simple person with incomprehensible, and sometimes deadly creatures. Dagon, Ktulhu, Yog-Sotot and many other dark deities invented by him in the 1920s, later gained such popularity that hundreds of fiction creators, including the Nile of Heyman and Stephen King, still continue to expand his mythology. From the latter in 2022, the series “Cabinet of Rares of Guillermo del Toro” was released, where two episodes are based on Lovecraft"s stories.
