Howard Phillips Lovecraft, who did not publish a single book during his lifetime, became a beacon and a guide to the whole genre, an idol of both wide readers" masses and refined intellectuals, an inexhaustible source of inspiration for filmmakers, and his name became a household name. Bores himself admired his stories in which the place of man is on the distant periphery of the universal scheme of things, and the supermances inspire the reckless horror in the souls. This collection includes stories and novels written by Lovecraft in co -authorship
