A house for the French is not just a place where they sleep and eat. It serves as a reflection of their ideas about life. Each item matters and tells the story of who they are, where they have visited and what its owners survived.
In the French house, each room performs a special function. If the appointment of the hallway is to present the history of your life and the personality of your home, then the purpose of the living room is to reduce people together for communication. And so in everything: every corner in the French house carries its meaning.
Of course, in France there are houses that deviate from standard norms, but this is only a funny exception to the rules. Any French living space is an expression of culture, and it, consciously or unconsciously, follows certain rituals and rules.

The book gives detailed recommendations on how to equip the hallway or create your own living room (Salon) in the French spirit than to fill the room, how to arrange furniture, what rituals to adhere to, inviting guests to the house.

She will help you:
* get acquainted with the rules by which the French arise their personal space
* Critically evaluate your home
* make some systemic changes
* Create the ideal house for yourself for French motives

Lean attitude to the house
The French appreciate and respect luxury, but they value even more frugality, and the French house serves as confirmation. They use absolutely everything. Remains of food in the refrigerator? They will go to the casserole. Remained a centimeter of shampoo? Squeeze to the last drop. The French are very economically consuming electricity, water and heating. And the point here is not in money, but in respect for everything that is in the house.
A good life in the house is least related to the value of material objects, the usefulness of technical devices, the beauty of the decor or the number of accumulated treasures.
