The textbook covers the main issues of the history, philosophy, and methodology of social and humanitarian sciences. Special emphasis is placed on questions such as the subject of social humanitarian sciences, methods of social and humanitarian sciences, the worldview in social and humanitarian sciences, social pseudoscience, ideology and social and humanitarian sciences, ethics of the social scientist, social ontology, social epistemology, and others. The goal of the textbook is to familiarize students with the methods of researching subject areas of social and humanitarian sciences and to teach them the skills to conduct independent scientific research in accordance with the criteria and requirements set by the modern logic of the development of social and humanitarian knowledge. It meets the requirements of the federal state educational standards of higher education of the latest generation. It is intended for bachelors, masters, and postgraduates studying the philosophy of science, as well as other disciplines related to philosophical and methodological issues of social and humanitarian knowledge.
