The publication includes the capital labor of the famous Russian historian and sociologist N.I. Kareeva "History of Western Europe in the New Time" (published in 1893-1917), which covers a significant period of European history, starting from late Middle Ages before the beginning of the 20th century. This work originated from the general courses of a new story that had to find out the meaning of two main coups in the life of the European West over the past four centuries, that is, the Reformation and Revolution, due to the general nature of the new story with its difference from medieval. The book is written at a high theoretical level with the attraction of a huge number of sources. Historical events are covered due to a common cultural context, which allows you to see some hidden engineering mechanisms of the historical process and trace their mutual influence, providing a look needed for historical analysis, trace the process of becoming a modern Europeans.
