Spotlight. The Feodorite of the Kirki "The History of Bogolyubtsev is the most valuable monument of the Hordenetrkovsky writing. It can be called "ancient-Syrian gradiment", because this work is devoted to the description of the lives of the Saints Syrian devotees of the IV-V centuries, who were standing at the origins of the Eastern Monastics. For the first time, it was transferred to Russian a year and a half ago, and this translation, based on a very poor-quality and incomplete publication of the Greek text of the History of Bogolyubtsev, has many shortcomings. The translation of this essay, submitted to the Orthodox reader, provided by comments made by Professor by the MDA, Dr. Church History A.I. Sidorov, is based on a critical and benign foreign edition, implemented by P. Kaniv. This book contains the spiritual wisdom and the robotic experience of the ancient saints
