This book consists of essays summarizing modern works on the history of the CPSU, offering descriptions of various aspects of its activities, drawing attention to important but rarely mentioned or clearly concealed characteristic episodes of the organization's history without euphemisms, and presenting the main goal of the Bolshevik leaders' activities - seizing power in the country, retaining it in their own interests, and expanding their dominance to other countries.
