The author, a professor and doctor of historical sciences, offers the reader a different system of priorities, more traditional for our country than the theories of textbooks from the 1950s-1970s. In particular, more emphasis is placed on social structures and beliefs, on the character of peoples, on the personalities of their outstanding rulers (who are always described in more detail in sources than anyone from the corresponding country). In addition, there is a detailed account of the ancient Israelites (before the Babylonian captivity), and of those neighbors who somehow influenced their lives.
