The book describes in detail the military path of the 51st Lithuanian His Imperial Highness the Heir Tsesarevich Infantry Regiment from its formation to the end of its existence during the Civil War years. The fate of the regiment is more closely connected to the capital of the Crimean Peninsula - Simferopol. Since 1874, it was stationed in the city and took part in almost all the wars that Russia fought in the 19th and 20th centuries. Coming to Crimea in the mid-19th century, the Lithuanians left it, going into exile in 1920 along with the remnants of General P.N. Wrangel's Russian army. But to this day, their traces can be found in the fates of the residents, street names, and even in the architecture of Simferopol. A multitude of mysteries and puzzles, myths and legends, fictional and true stories surround the memory of the regiment.
