This textbook refers to the new generation of Russian sociological literature. Its substantive and methodical base was many years of experience in teaching the history of sociology as a special discipline. Therefore, the book is designed primarily to use for educational purposes. The textbook discusses the basic concepts of theoretical sociology, formulated in the works of O.Konta, Sprumba, K. Marks, E. Dürkheim, M. Deber, P.Sorokina, T. Parsonce and I.Hofman. The continuity of the thematic program and methodological principles in the history of sociological thought of the XIX - XX centuries is shown. Each of the eight heads of the textbook is a "complete work", in which the theory of a particular author is reconstructed in its internal logical integrity and in the context of ideological influences of precursors. The textbook can be recommended as a means of "intellectual navigation" in the complex discursive space of sociological science.
