For the first time in linguistic historiography, the history of Russian linguistics is considered in the proposed lecture course with two points of view - methodological and disciplinary. The first of these takes into account the methodological position of the author of the concept analyzed - a semaxiological or onomasiological, the second - its views on the disciplinary structure of linguistics.
