The textbook complies with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard and is intended for the formation of basic knowledge in the history of Russia in the twentieth century. - The beginning of the XXI in .. it was created using elements of developing learning. The textbook is based on a system of educational tasks (problems): each paragraph is devoted to a separate task, the connections between paragraphs are traced already at the stage of preliminary generalization. The text organically includes documentary, illustrative and graphic material.
The study of each chapter ends with a block of control with a brief list of knowledge, concepts and skills that should be learned by students during the solution of educational problems. This list is a guideline for both the teacher and students in the preparation and exercise of control (including the USE and the GIA model) There is also a module that implements the regional component.
The methodological apparatus of the textbook was prepared with the participation of E. G. Gigireva
