The main directions and schools of the classical period are considered: Mutazilism, Fansaf, Philosophy of insight, philosophical teachings of Ismailitis and Sufis. The concept of Ibn Haldun and the philosophy of the Sefavid era represent the postclassical stage. The philosophical search for Arab-Muslim thinkers of modernity is highlighted in detail. The textbook discusses the features of the authoritative texts of Islam (Koran and Sunna), the main features of Islamic creed, the rights and ethics that are determined for the worldview of Muslims.
