This book is the publication of materials from the Personal Archival Foundation of the Holy Martyr John (Summer) of the Archbishop of Riga and All Latvia. Its basis is an extensive correspondence, which in the 1920s - the beginning of the 1930s, Latvian Vladyka led with numerous correspondents who were in emigration in many countries of the world. Among his correspondents were well-known Russian hierarchs, scientists, cultural figures. In the published letters, various topical issues have been addressed, which worried about Russian church emigration at that time. The book also includes the correspondence on private issues that have not received widespread historical fame of persons, nevertheless, who gives a bright idea of the fate of Russian refugees in a foreign land. In addition to the publication of the epistolauric heritage, a number of other archival documents representing historical interest are also reproduced. The published material commented in detail.
