This book is a collection of articles and reports by three authors: V. Yu. Katasonov, V. N. Trostnikov, and G. M. Shimanov. Despite differences in themes, styles, life experiences, and education, these authors have something in common: a focus on understanding the meaning of world and Russian history from the perspective of Orthodox worldview. Their interpretation of historical processes is based on Sacred Scripture, the works of the Holy Fathers, the intellectual and spiritual heritage of the best Russian thinkers, including the Slavophiles: Plato, Aristotle, the holy fathers John Chrysostom and Basil the Great, Theophan the Recluse, Fyodor Dostoevsky, V. Leontiev, L. Tikhomirov, Metropolitan of St. Petersburg and Ladoga John (Snychev). The authors believe that only a Russian person who feels their Orthodox roots can resist spiritual and physical destruction. This book will serve as a support for all those concerned about the fate of Russia and its people, especially for schoolchildren and students, in the conditions of information warfare with Western countries.
