The proposed book consists of two parts. The first part consists of the work of the "story as a symbol" (completed in 1988), in which the unfolding of history in the immediate (religion) and mediated (art, philosophy, science) forms are considered. The second part consists of articles, one way or another concerning historical issues, in which historical and philosophical (Plato, Anselm Canterbury, R. Descart, F.M. Dostoevsky, N.Ya. Danilevsky, B.C. Solovyov, K.E. Tsiolkovsky) , Historical and Scientific (Galilee, J. Bruno, G.M. Idlis) and Historical and Technical (P. Florensky, M. Heidegger, F. Dessauer) Problems. This also includes two reports read in 2014: "new chance for philosophy" and "Russian cultural and historical matrix in the modern world". Work can be of interest to specialists in the field of philosophy of history, philosophy of science and philosophy of technology
