The course of lectures and anthology material. The course of lectures and anthology material on the history and philosophy of science (parts one and two) are designed for graduate students and applicants in the legal field preparing for the candidate minimum exam, as well as those interested in historical-philosophical issues of science. The educational material includes philosophical questions of science as a specific system of knowledge necessary for graduate students and applicants in legal specialties. The history and genesis of science, the regularities of its development, the methodology of scientific knowledge, the role of science in society, and a number of other issues are considered taking into account the legal direction of the students. Attention is paid to Russian scientific-philosophical thought. The anthology material includes primary sources from famous authors in accordance with the topics studied for a deeper understanding of ideas, doctrines, and concepts of different eras.
