The attention of the readers is proposed to the book of a Russian historian, publicist M.P. Pavlovich (1871-1927), which studies the development of the military industry and its role in the exacerbation of international relations on the eve of the First World War, and also covers the threat of new world wars. The book includes four parts. The first part of the work is devoted to the military industry of England, France and Germany before and during the war. The second part examines the development of militarism and Marinism and the growth of budgets for the land and sea weapons of European states on the eve of 1914. In the third part of the book, the author considers contemporary events and characterizes the relationship between the capitalist powers, in his opinion, threatening humanity with a new world war. Finally, in the fourth part of the book, the question of the chemical war and the chemical industry will be affected.
