Power is a privilege of men. So it has been considered for centuries, millennia. Military leaders fought warlike tribes, male monarchs inherited crows along the paternal line, male presidents won the democratic elections. The ladies of the woman seemed to be the circle of responsibilities, fitting in the old triad of a German housewife: "kinder, kirche, kuchen" ("children, church, kitchen") But there were exceptions in this rule, and not so rare and found since ancient times. In the Bible, for example, the Queen of Savskaya is mentioned - historians attribute her possible rule to the 10th century BC. Around the same time, the real Queen Shammuramat, captured in later European descriptions as Semiramida, was in power in Assyria. This, of course, did not refute the unspoken monopoly of men to political activity, but emphasized in every possible way (at least in the eyes of the general public) that women on the throne are exceptions confirming the rule: "Power is the privilege of men". This mythologem, despite numerous reverse examples, remained in general unshakable up to the modern era
