The Decembrist uprising is still customary to represent a purely internal phenomenon as a performance of a group of opposition officers who are carried away by the ideas of European reforms.
The famous historian Valery Shambarov in his new work "Who stood for the Decembrists" shows that this rebellion is uniniting to consider separately, it was an integral part of a whole network of related conspiracies, including Polish. For the first time, evidence of the connections of the Decembrists with the Western powers is given, primarily with England, who widely deployed international subversive operations for the "export of revolutions" from the beginning of the 19th century
