The reader’s attention is proposed to continue the first in the history of specialized printed labor dedicated to the armament of the Russian army of the First World War.
This book is dedicated to the artillery of the Russian army of the early twentieth century. A significant part of the artillery systems until recently was highlighted in the literature. This is especially true for specialized types of artillery, such as anti -eeroplane (in the current terminology - anti -aircraft) and trench (mortars and bombers), which pays significant attention in the book.
Like the previous works of the Weapon of the Great War, this book considers weapons primarily from the point of view of soldiers and officers of the Russian army. The text is written on the basis of published sources, the vast majority of which were published at the beginning of the twentieth century, as well as archival documentary materials previously unknown to a wide range of researchers.
Photos from private collections and museum collections, as well as drawings and schemes from literature of the early twentieth century and archival sources, were used as illustrations. A significant part of the illustrations is published for the first time
