One of the best private weapons collections of Russia, collected by the Moscow collector A.A. The Catarrier de Bonkur was transferred as a gift to the historical museum in 1909. It totaled over 600 works of weapons art of famous and forgotten masters of Western Europe and the East. Despite such a significant collection, the collection of the Catuer De Biocurcu has still been practically not studied: only about a dozen monuments have been introduced into scientific circulation and reproduced in scientific publications. An illustrated album containing a large reference material was released in English and Russian
