The monograph sets out research methods and a geoecological assessment of the Polder lands.
The history of research and practical use of surface waters of the Kaliningrad region has been characterized, modern problems of their geoecological state have been revealed. The characteristic of the Polder lands as a complex natural-economic systems is given, the need for geoecological studies of water-based water rivers located on them is justified. A methodological approach has been developed for assessing the geoecological state of the pools of small watercourses by conjugated analysis of hydrological, hydrochemical and geoecological data. Hydrological calculations of the key characteristics of the river runoff of small watercourses of the Polder lands were made, the dependencies between them were revealed. Field studies have been conducted, hydrochemical sets of data on the rivers of the Polder land for four hydrological seasons 2020-2021 were obtained. Retrospective hydrochemical information was processed. The prevailing pollutants, integral indicators of water quality and the main sources of pollution are calculated. On the basis of the results obtained, a scheme of the spatial distribution of pollution of the river network of the Polder lands was built. The geoecological state of pools was evaluated on the basis of a set of natural and anthropogenic data, based on the result, the recommendations for its improvement are given.
is of interest to specialists in the field of geoecology, hydrology, hydrochemistry, rational nature management and environmental protection
