The Warsaw Long Play is a continuation of the memoirs of the Polish prose writer and publicist Stanislav Maria Salinsky (the first, "birds are returning to dreams", was published into Russian in Vladivostok in 2015) The story is dedicated to the "Polish" stage of the life of the writer, who was born and spent the years of youth in the Russian Empire, and then returned to his historical homeland. The book represents a picture of the life of the Warsaw intelligentsia between the first and Second World Wars - during the period of Poland gaining long -awaited independence and the heyday of national culture. Thanks to the descriptions of the districts, streets and overlings, known or now sinking into the non -existence of theaters, cafes, places of meeting of the metropolitan bohemia, writers, journalists, artists, scientists, we can plunge into the unique climate of the place and era. The Warsaw Long Play, like a long-playing pavement plate, captivates us into a whirlwind of events on the eve of a terrible war, and the needle of the narrative now and then jumps back to the Vladivostok years, into the serene life at another "pole" of the globe, and go ahead, in the post-war. Time, for walks along the shady alleys, called the names of former friends and colleagues of the writer
