Bishop Mitrofan (Badanin), Bishop of the Severomorsky and Umba, hereditary naval sailor, devoted this book to his family, who fought on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War. Her main thought - the evil and blood of war are defeated by the great power of the love of those who were waiting for their loved ones from the front. The book is dedicated to the entire military generation of Soviet people, many of whom laid their soul for their friends (cf.: John 15,13) - and so they fulfilled God"s love
