Vitim for Russia is, first of all, the water artery, according to which, as in a natural highway, was the development of Siberia. These are the gold mines of the empire and its unique nature. And also Vitim - the prototype of the majestic gloomy river from the novel of the same name Vyacheslav Shishkov. The expedition of the "Komsomolskaya Pravda" and the Russian Geographical Society passed the alloy from the village of Romanovka in the upper reaches of Vitim to the town of Bodaibo in his lower reaches and was convinced that Shishkov’s book was literally stuffed with events and nuances of undoubtedly local "registration".
