The book is devoted to the study of the parties to the parties of the state activities of the English monarchs-reformers from the Tudor dynasty, primarily their financial policy aimed both at maintaining a high socio-economic level of development of the country, and primarily to strengthen the royal authority before new challenges of time. Based on the analysis of archival materials, legislative acts of parliament, royal proclamations and government securities, the author covers in detail the main directions of the financial policy of the Tudor dynasty, for the first time in Russian science creates a classification of tax revenues that take into account all the incomes of the crown for several decades. The evidence of contemporaries-publicists will be of particular interest, shed light on the nature of financial transformations held by the English monarchs.
