The book of the famous St. Petersburg photographer Dmitry Goryachev, an employee of the State Russian Museum, continues the tradition of copyright guide to the royal village, begun in the 18th - 19th centuries I. Yakovkin and S. Vilchkovsky, but at the same time is an album of classic black and white photographs.
In the essay dedicated to different parts of the palace and park ensemble, the author promptly and non-trivially talks about changes in the imperial residence at different monarchs, because each owner had his own aesthetic addictions, and the fashion changed.
