The 9th Hussar Kyiv General Field Marshal of Prince Nikolai Repnin regiment led its genealogy from the Little Russian 1st Company Huntsome Regiment. For almost a hundred years of its existence, it was a hired army, which consisted of a “hetmansk” and contained at the expense of the military treasury. In the outcome of 1775, it was decided to translate the three companions that existed by then in Little Russia in the "regular service", i.e. On their inclusion in the Russian Imperial Army.
On the basis of the rich archival material stored in the Central State Historical Archive of Ukraine (Kyiv), the book describes in detail the issues of the structure of the hunting regiments, their salary and other contents, the continuity of companions in 1715-1775 was traced. The text directly analyzes the reform itself, as well as the reformation of the former company regiments in the carbine, which followed in 1785, because The analysis of these two events proves that the Kyiv hussars existed continuously from 1706 to 1918.
Real labor can be useful to future historiographers of the 2nd Life-Dragunsky Pskov, 6th Dragoon Glukhovsky and 17th Hussar Chernihiv regiments, which, like the Kiev, in 1914 had the seniority of the hunting cooker regiments
