The October Revolution pushed millions of people beyond Russia. A great outcome began --- such a large-scale scattering of Russians in the world that this phenomenon has no precedents and analogues in history. The best of the best, the spiritual elite of the country went abroad, and their absence could not but affect the nation gene pool. And the abroad with their tributary, on the contrary, only won, getting selected, the highest sample, human material.
The subsequent waves of Russian emigration occur during the Second World War, on the 1970th-1980s (from the discharge of international tension under L.I. Brezhnev to perestroika) and at the present.
The book is dedicated to the dramatic history of Russian emigration from the corruption years to the present day.
