The book traces the main events of the socio-political and socio-economic history of the USSR from education to destruction. The ideological foundations of the state’s internal and foreign policy, the main factors and the results of the rise of the country and the people to the heights of historical development are revealed. Difficulties are objectively highlighted, mistakes and abuse of power, the emergence of irreversible crisis phenomena that led to the fall of the state in 1991, the history of the creation of Soviet atomic weapons, dissident, national and confessional policy previously presented earlier in textbooks.
