In the attention of the monograph’s readers on the basis of various and extensive sources (legislative acts of the Russian Empire, archival documents, memoirs of contemporaries of events and other materials), organizational and legal characteristics of the formation and development of Russian-Turkmen relations on the forecasting of the XVIII-early XX centuries are analyzed.
The data cited in monographs convincingly indicate that not all Turkmen tribes reacted negatively to the distribution and approval of the Russian authorities in Transasias. The voluntary adoption of a part of the Turkmen ethnic group of Russian citizenship is contributed to the policy of the Russian Empire, which has been distinguished by the variety of approaches and administrative measures, the correctness, flexibility of institutional and legislative establishments, and the desire to civilizely combine the region with the rest of the Russian state.
It is recommended to lawyers and historians, scientists, teachers and graduate students of educational organizations, everyone who is interested in the sources of legal culture and statehood of the peoples of Central Asia
