Arthur Weigall, a well -known English Egyptologist, the author of a number of studies on ancient Egypt, set a goal - to write a consistent and most complete history of the reign of the pharaohs. And with a brilliance I completed the task. Weigall devoted this work to the reign of the first eleven dynasties. For work, he used all the material available to Egyptologists: the lists of kings from the “History of Egypt” by Manephone and the Abydos list from the temple of the Tsar of the Network I, the Sakkar list discovered in the tunnel of the tuneri, and the materials of the excavations of the necropolis in Abidos and Tinisa, the Turin papyrus and the Palemsky stone . The author clarifies the duration of each reign and the spelling of the names of the pharaohs.
