In the second volume of the monograph, the history of Sevastopol was revealed since the end of the Russian-Turkish war of 1768-1774, the foundations of the city in 1783 and before the revolutionary events of 1917. Based on a wide range of sources, both archival and published, taking into account the latest achievements of domestic and foreign historiography, the history of the city is considered in all its main aspects: political, military, socio-economic, ethno-demographic, cultural, confessional.
