In the classical fundamental work of the German scientist Augustus Muller, dedicated to the history of Islam, the pre -Islamic history of the Arabs and the history of the Arabs from the Prophet Muhammad to the fall of the Arab Abbasid dynasty were analyzed. According to the wealth of the material and the latitude of the coverage of countries and events, as well as thanks to the titanic efforts of the author in the processing of Arab written sources “History of Islam” and today remains one of the most important studies. Many terms, concepts and names in the text are left just as the author wrote them. For a thoughtful reader, it will not be difficult to correlate the author’s interpretation of words with their modern spelling.
