The book "The Roots of the Stalinist Bolshevism" is a bold attempt to figure out the stormy ups and downs of our history, which, as a result, led to the breakdown of the state system in Russia in 1917. Alexander Pyzhikov connects their causes with the confessional split of the second half of the 17th century, which formed a different (latent) lifestyle and thoughts of more than a million Russians, known to us as the Old Believers.
