This book is a continuation of the reconstruction project of the Protomai kinship system. The study is devoted to the problem of studying the Mayan kinship in the system of social organization, which has developed on the territory of Mesoamerika in the pre -Columbian era. The author considers how the extremely archaic phenomenon of the kinship system becomes that intermediate structure, within the framework of which the transition from the biological organization of a living system to a complex sociosystem is carried out, aimed at creating an artificial habitat, an anthroposystem.
