On the eve of the 140th anniversary of the end of the Russo-Turkish war of 1877-1878. A joint Russian-Bulgarian team prepared a thematic album dedicated to a significant date. A richly illustrated publication incorporated various artistic and photographic materials, historical relics, fragments of memoirs and memoirs of participants and eyewitnesses of the past war. The large -scale chronicle of military operations is supplemented by post -war materials related to the preservation of the memory of the war, about the dead and the descendants of the participants of such tragic and turning point in the history of Russia and Bulgaria. The purpose of the release of the album is to maintain historical traditions among the general population of both Russia and Bulgaria
