Prince Nikolai Sergeyevich Trubetskoy (1890-1938) entered the spiritual history of Russia primarily as the founder of the famous Eurasian direction in journalism and philosophy. The most important place in the worldview of Trubetskoy was occupied by issues of national identity, morality, logic and meaning of Russian history. His work "Heritage of Genghis Khan" became an era in a new understanding of the events of Russian history. It was a view of domestic history not from the West, but from the East. Genghis Khan Trubetskoy himself calls primarily the great organizer, and only then the great conqueror. “Genghis Khan managed to fulfill the historical task set by the very nature of Eurasia- the task of the state unification of all this part of the world. He fulfilled this task as soon as it was possible to fulfill it - uniting a steppe under his power, and through the steppe and the rest of Eurasia. " The Eurasian worldview, according to the scientist, should become a spiritual rod, with the help of which it will be possible to solve the spiritual and political tasks of the Russian nation.
