The book is a series of essays about the khans and rulers of the Golden Horde. Each essay is dedicated to a separate monarch or ruler, its origin, coming to power, the history of government and the circumstances of the death. Fourteen biographical essays chronologically cover almost the entire history of this state (mid -XIII - early XVI centuries), including all the most important events associated with its occurrence, heyday, decline and collapse. Significant attention is also paid to the foreign policy of the Horde rulers, their relations with Russia, the countries of Europe and the Muslim East.
