The book is dedicated to the history of estates that once belonged to the Sheremetev family. Almost all of them were located in Moscow and the Moscow Region: Ostankino, Kuskovo, Mikhailovskoye, Ostafyevo, Ulyanka, young Tud, Borisovka and Gavrons - and had their own unique face.
In the memoirs of the count Sergey Dmitrievich Sheremetev, they are paid to special attention. These memoirs, complemented by family photographs of Sheremetev"s counts, create a unique and multifaceted picture of a long -gone life, in which the Sheremetevs were patrons of arts and philanthropists, as well as innovators in many areas - from the fire business to the construction of the first submarines.
