The book of Yuri Bakhurin "The Front and Rear of the Great War" is an interesting story about the issues and problems of the history of the First World War, not known to this day. The author answers numerous questions, some of which were out of sight of most domestic researchers: what did the soldiers of the Russian Imperial Army ate in the Great War and whether it was added to? Was they respected by the "dry law adopted at the beginning of the war? Were the Russian soldiers superstitious, and what were they shared with each other with rumors? Was it enough for them in 1914-1917? Was bodily punishments applied to them? Did the assault exist in the troops? Was the front -line soldiers decided to inflict injuries to themselves in order to leave the front line? Were there the prototypes of barrage detachments at the time of the Great War, which stopped the Fire attempts to flee from the battlefield? What moved soldiers who were brother with the enemy? How were the fallen for faith, the king and the Fatherland - and how many lives Russia lost in the merciless flame of the First World War?
