The proposed scientific work sets out the history of the little -known Turkic Seljuk dynasty from its appearance in the 10th century to the disappearance in the XIV century. The dynasty changed the military-political situation in the near and Middle East and on the vast spaces, which extended from the foothills of the Tien Shan to the Red Sea and from the Indian Ocean to the Black Sea, created the empire of the Great Seljuks-one of the largest states that existed in medieval Asia, and The Seljuk state in Asia Minor, which died at the beginning of the 14th century as a result of the Mongol invasion, but became the basis on which the Ottoman Empire originated.
