The presented work presented in the science of criminal law is the study of the criminal law views of the Russian revolutionary democrats A. I. Herzen, B. G. Belinsky, N. G. Chernyshevsky and N. A. Dobrolyubov was published in 1959 and since then was not reprinted . It not only presents the views of democrats-revolutionaries for crimes, causes of crime and punishment, but also revealed the essence of criminal justice in Russia of the 19th century.
