In the mid-80s, the construction of a huge nitrogen fertilizer factory began in the Far East. Next to it was planned to build the city of Bonivur, in which builders and plant workers would live. It so happened that the last city of the USSR, and the enterprise, which he had to become, was not completed. They sunk into oblivion along with the Soviet Union and almost erased from human memory, if not for the Khabarovsk traveler and blogger, member of the Russian Geographical Society Alexander Leonkin. Having accidentally learned about the disappeared city, he undertook four local history expeditions in Bonivur, found people who built the city and lived in it, excavated a lot of rare personal and archival documents. All this became the basis for writing a book that you are holding in your hands. Books about work, enthusiasm and the last city of the USSR
