The testimonies of the red terror, which were included in this book, were first published exactly a hundred years ago in the collection “Che-ka. Materials on the activities of emergency commissions ”, published in Berlin by the Party of Socialist Revolutionaries. The names of those to whom they belong, with a little exception, are hidden behind pseudonyms. These people at the time of the press were in Russia, and some were again arrested and waited for their fate in prisons, which were so vividly described in this book.
