Tapes of the Russian Navy. 1872-1917

The first book of a two -volume publication dedicated to the ribbons on the headdresses of the sailors of the domestic fleet. In Russian -speaking and foreign thematic publications and publications, the theme of naval tapes has not yet been considered exclusively in the context of the marine uniform as a whole. With the exception of several articles in periodicals, for the first time made a full -scale attempt to systematize and summarize information about naval tapes. The publication is illustrated by images of ribbons from domestic and foreign museum collections and private collections, as well as a large number of photographs.
