The Yevpatorii sea landing, carried out on the night of January 4-5, 1942, is one of the most tragic and heroic episodes of the Great Patriotic War. The presented book describes in detail the preparation and conduct of the landing operation in Yevpatoria, the causes and factors that influenced its unsuccessful completion are explored. The author uses a significant volume of domestic and foreign documentary sources. The basis of the study was archival materials that have not yet been published, which has made it possible to comprehensively and in detail to consider the features of the operation, to consistently recreate the picture of the events that took place in Yevpatoria in January 1942. The book is of interest to both experts and lovers of military history and, of course, for everyone who is dear to the memory of the Great Patriotic War
