The book is dedicated to the history of the people of Little Russia (Ukraine), as an integral part of a single Russian people, related to the people of Great Russia (Russia) with unified roots of origin from Kievan Rus, a common struggle against enemies and traitors - for maintaining their independence and culture. The main idea of the book is the undeniable fact that any weakening of the connections between fraternal peoples has always led to unrest, innumerable troubles and suffering of the Ukrainian people. So it was at the time before Bogdan Khmelnitsky, it was after him, so it was during the traitor of Mazepa, when the separation from Russia and the search for an alien patron ended in fratricidal wars within Little Russia itself. This is happening today in Ukraine, when the enemies of unity tore many ties between the two parts of the Russian people and, hiding behind the usual false slogans about “independence” and “unnecessary”, humiliate, rob their own people to please patrons from Europe and even America.
